• Researchers at RPCI sought to answer the question as to whether patients with melanoma understand the ramifications of their diagnosis and their treatment options.
• A pilot study comparing an audio/visual intervention with a standard preoperative teaching session will ultimately be translated to later-stage melanoma and other cancers.
